Role Overview:
NEC Software Solutions has an excellent opportunity for a Presales professional with specific knowledge of the Public Safety sector, including Police, Fire, Ambulance, or Transport.
An essential requirement is experience in product demonstrations and tender responses.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team with bid responses, collaborating with product, development, and portfolio teams.
- Configure, build, and demonstrate NEC Safety products.
- Interpret customer demonstration scenarios to design product configurations.
- Demonstrate NEC Safety portfolio functionalities for new business and account management presentations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on product questions during the sales process.
- Understand related Safety product offerings such as control rooms, operational policing, evidence management, biometrics, and managed services.
- Senior roles will handle major bids over £20m, covering infrastructure, applications, and services.
Qualifications
- Presales experience or proven presentation capabilities, gained in the private sector with public sector clients or within public sector organizations.
- Good knowledge of the Safety business domain.
- Experience with Control Rooms, Operational Policing, Evidence Management/Data Analytics, or Managed Services.
Ideal Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of the Public Safety market.
- Understanding customer requirements in the Public Safety sector.
- Government security clearance is advantageous.
- Understanding of the Government & Safety environment and market competition.
- Ability to interact effectively with high-level managers and officers.
- Focus on customer retention and satisfaction.
- Ability to deliver high-quality, complex demonstrations under tight deadlines.
- Support for proposal preparations and post-demonstration follow-ups.
- Represent NEC capabilities internally and externally.
