What You'll Do:
  • Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives during the pre-sales phase.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and product experts to design solutions that address the specific requirements of potential clients.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the company's products or services, staying up-to-date with new features, updates, and industry trends.
  • Provide technical expertise to potential clients, including conducting product demonstrations, explaining technical concepts, and addressing technical questions or concerns.
  • Create compelling and customised proposals and presentations that clearly outline the benefits and advantages of the proposed solutions.
  • Coordinate and oversee the creation of proof of concepts or prototypes.
  • Stay informed about competitors' offerings and strengths, positioning the company's solutions effectively in comparison.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and marketing, to align pre-sales efforts with the company's goals and strategies.
  • Support the sales team in negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract review, ensuring that client expectations align with the proposed solution.
  • Gather feedback from potential clients and share insights with the product development and marketing teams for continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as Business, Computer Science, or supply chain (or equivalent experience).
  • Several years of experience in pre-sales or technical sales, preferably selling to pharma companies or airlines.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of the supply chain visibility products and their practical applications for airlines and pharma companies.
  • Experience in selling integrated hardware and software solutions to provide comprehensive offerings to clients.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools to manage pre-sales activities and track performance.
  • Depending on the company and industry, travel may be required to meet with potential clients, attend trade shows, or participate in on-site demonstrations.
