THE ROLE:

We seek an exceptional individual based in the UK to join our growing Sales team as a Pre-Sales Consultant. The role requires deep domain knowledge, sales acumen, strong technical skills, and relevant industry expertise, focusing on fraud and financial crime prevention in Financial Services.

The Pre-Sales Consultant will work with sales, engagement management, threat analytics, professional services, product management, operations, and engineering to identify customer needs, ensure product fit, and propose solutions that exceed expectations.

The candidate will understand BioCatch’s goals, support revenue delivery by owning the value proposition and technical wins, and coordinate with the delivery team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct detailed discovery with customers to uncover needs and challenges.
  • Deliver presentations, demos, and scoping meetings to qualify deals.
  • Engage regularly with internal and external customers to provide expertise and guidance.
  • Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on fraud solutions.
  • Collaborate with solution architects to design and document solutions.
  • Guide integration of BioCatch into customer processes.
  • Scope and document technical solutions and project plans.
  • Validate solutions with internal teams.
  • Secure commitments from customer technical staff.
  • Define Proof of Concepts and ensure successful delivery.
  • Contribute to business case development.
  • Lead responses to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Coordinate with InfoSec and technical teams on security questionnaires.
  • Represent BioCatch at conferences and build personal brand.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, fraud methods, and regulations.
  • Gather competitor intelligence and maintain market awareness.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Fluent in English.
  • Reside in the UK with necessary work permits.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a senior fraud management role at a large bank or 5+ years in pre-sales consulting in fraud/financial crime tech with top-tier banks.
  • Passion for innovative technology and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Experience with enterprise architectures and AI solutions preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of fraud prevention, AML, and financial crime landscape.
  • Understanding of security frameworks.
  • Technical awareness of OS (Linux), cloud (Azure, AWS), data formats, APIs, HTML, JavaScript, SDKs, SPA development.
  • Basic knowledge of analytical techniques and machine learning algorithms.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Strong presentation skills, capable of commanding a room.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify customer needs and risks.
  • Willing to travel 25%-60% within the UK.
