Job summary

Witham Hall School, a happy and dynamic co-educational boarding and day prep school, invites an energetic and passionate class teacher to lead a Form in Pre-Prep (Year 1). The post-holder will report to the Headmaster through the Head of Pre-Prep and work with fellow Form Teachers to maintain and promote the school's aims and ethos.

The successful candidate will have strong academic qualifications, a passion for working with children, and the ability to inspire.

• Support safeguarding and welfare through DBS checks and professional practice.

Witham Hall School is a happy and dynamic co-educational boarding and day Prep school, set within superb grounds on the Lincolnshire/Rutland border. There are around 220 pupils in the School from age 4 to 13. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading prep school that strives for the highest standards of teaching, learning and pastoral care.

The School is currently seeking an energetic and passionate class teacher to lead a Form in Pre-Prep (currently Year 1). The post-holder will be responsible to the Headmaster, through the Head of Pre-Prep, and work in conjunction with their fellow Form Teachers and relevant Heads of Department to ensure the aims, objectives and ethos of both the School and of each department are maintained and promoted.

With strong academic qualifications, and a desire to aspire to the highest standards of teaching and learning, the successful candidate will be an excellent teacher, with a passion for working with children, coupled with an ability to inspire.
