Spire Clare Park Hospital in Farnham is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Pre-Assessment team. You will conduct pre-operative assessments and triage patients to ensure suitability for surgery, delivering high standards of care before treatment.

The role offers a 37.5-hour week, Band 5 equivalent salary dependent on experience, and a £3,000 joining bonus (T&Cs apply). You will work with consultants, anaesthetists and multidisciplinary teams to support safe patient pathways.

Qualifications

• Must hold current NMC registration.
• Experience in pre-assessment settings.
• Experience in acute healthcare.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments.
• Triaging and assessing patient suitability for surgery.
• Identify and escalate potential clinical concerns.
• Support safe, personalised patient care throughout the surgical pathway.
• Provide clear information and reassurance to patients and families.
• Collaborate with consultants, anaesthetists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
