Job summary

Spire London East Hospital, Redbridge, East London, is seeking a Pre-operative Assessment Nurse (RGN) to join our experienced team. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm, with a minimum of 3 days per week. You will support patients in the pre-operative phase, delivering high-quality care in a modern private hospital.

Qualifications

• Be NMC registered
• Minimum 12 months pre-operative assessment nursing experience
• General surgical experience desirable
• Compassionate and able to showcase excellent patient care
• Strong communication skills
• Flexibility

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility by making accurate patient observations, completing medical history and giving medication advice
• Be part of a supportive team delivering best-in-class service and ensure health and wellbeing needs of patients are met in run up to operation
• Make decisions deemed best for patients' care
