Job overview
To provide the highest standard of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualised holistic patient care in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team. To act as a positive role model within the pre-operative assessment department.
The band 6 Sister will be required to manage her own caseload of complex patients with multiple co-morbidities and support junior staff within the department, offering guidance and advice in the absence of the lead nurses. The band 6 will be expected to manage the department and coordinate the daily activities of the department in the absence of the department leads.
