Job summary

Twin Cities Orthopedics is seeking a part-time Pre-op/PACU Registered Nurse for our Plymouth location. The RN will manage patient care from pre-op through PACU and recovery, with shifts starting as early as 5:00 AM and ending by 7:00 PM depending on needs.

Operations are centered on delivering quality perioperative care, with emphasis on accurate documentation, patient education, and collaboration with the care team. This role requires MN or WI RN licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program.
• RN licensure in MN or WI (multi-state) preferred.
• 1 year of PACU/critical care experience preferred.
• Current BLS/ACLS/PALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess holistic needs from pre-op through discharge.
• Review pre-admission screening and H&P per criteria.
• Provide post-operative calls and triage as appropriate.
• Document care accurately and communicate findings to the team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize perioperative outcomes.
