Job description

Job Purpose

Dealing with all aspects of pre-litigation personal injury claims involving allegations of Fraud and/or Low Velocity Impact (LVI). Handling personal injury claims related to Road Traffic Accidents or other technical cases as required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Progressing pre-litigation claims efficiently and promptly.
  2. Uploading claims on the OIC portal and advising clients on offers received.
  3. Obtaining and collating medical records and creating a chronology of pre-accident medical history.
  4. Reviewing medical reports and obtaining insurance and repair documentation.
  5. Prioritising urgent tasks and managing daily To Do list.
  6. Instructing Counsel for conferences and carrying out risk assessments and prospects reports.
  7. Keeping clients informed throughout the claim process.
  8. Liaising with clients, third-party insurers, and referrers to ensure smooth case progression and maintain service quality.
  9. Updating BTE and RTA insurers on claim progress.
Experience and Knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of RTA file handling; experience with Fraud/LVI cases is a plus but not essential.
  • Familiarity with relevant case law and legislation.
  • Organisational skills and excellent client care and communication abilities.
