Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering construction methods and estimating concepts.
• Ability to prepare estimates from first principles and compare subcontract quotations.
• Define permanent and temporary works scopes.
• Interpreting drawings and completing accurate quantity take-offs.
• Familiarity with CANDY and Bluebeam is desirable.
• Ability to manage large datasets and produce dashboards/reports.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender estimates from first principles and engage with Supply Chain.
• Review tender docs to confirm scope, risks, and pricing strategy.
• Conduct site inspections to understand tender requirements.
• Take-offs and define permanent/temporary works; produce BOQs.
• Engage subcontractors for quotations and consolidate submissions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders throughout the tender process.
• Analyze data and support dashboards to improve commercial insight.
• Review contracts, support negotiations, and assist handover.
