Job summary

SES Engineering Services is seeking a Pre-Construction Manager to lead the pre-construction strategy for high-profile, technically complex projects across multiple sectors in the North East region. You will oversee bid teams, coordinate inputs from functional leads and the SLT, and drive high-quality, commercially sound tender submissions.

The role focuses on governance, collaboration, and delivering winning strategies while supporting a diverse, inclusive team and offering excellent development

Responsibilities

• Produce, own and implement individual project bid strategies and customer plans.
• Take responsibility for engaging with functional leads and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to agree bid teams; monitoring and adapting to suit specific tender requirements throughout the bid period.
• Ensure that all members of the project bid team have a clear understanding of their role and required outputs
• Ensure all bids are carried out and settled in accordance with SES governance
