Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Pre-Construction & Logistics Manager for an East London-based, site-based role with travel across London. You will plan and deliver logistics before work starts on site, handling complex challenges on major projects such as data centres and large commercial schemes.

You will develop innovative logistics strategies, coordinate with designers, clients and authorities, and work with an expanding team to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.

Pre Construction and Logistics Manager

£50,000 - £70,000 DOE + Travel Expenses + 28 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension + Career Progression

An exciting opportunity for a Pre-Construction & Logistics Manager to join a growing specialist construction business working on some of the UK's most complex and high-profile construction projects. This is a varied, autonomous role where you will play a pivotal part in the successful planning and delivery of projects before work begins on site.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong construction background who enjoys solving complex logistical challenges and influencing projects from the earliest stages. You'll work on major new build developments, including data centres and large-scale commercial schemes, developing innovative logistics strategies that support safe and efficient project delivery.

Working alongside an experienced and expanding team, you will be responsible for carrying out site assessments, producing construction logistics plans, liaising with local authorities and clients, and coordinating with designers to develop detailed logistics drawings. The business will also provide full training on its specialist construction logistics processes, making this a fantastic opportunity to develop a highly sought-after skill set within a growing organisation.

This role would suit a Construction Manager, Contracts Manager, Senior Site Manager, Project Manager or similar construction professional with experience delivering large-scale projects who is looking to move into a specialist pre-construction role offering long-term progression and career development.

The Role:

• Develop construction logistics strategies for major construction projects across the UK.
• Carry out site surveys, measurements and feasibility assessments.
• Liaise with local authorities, clients and project stakeholders throughout the pre-construction phase.
• Coordinate with graphic designers to produce detailed logistics and site layout drawings.
• Develop access, traffic management and waste management strategies to support project delivery.

The Person:

• Experience within construction as a Construction Manager, Contracts Manager, Senior Site Manager, Project Manager or similar.
• Good understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics and project planning.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings, floor plans and technical documentation.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willing to travel to project sites across the UK.
