An established and highly regarded demolition, civil engineering, earthwork and specialist enabling works contractor is seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Technical Manager to join its growing pre-construction team based in Central London.
The business is open to candidates currently operating within either a Pre-Construction Manager or Technical Manager capacity, with the key requirement being strong pre-construction experience and a technical understanding of civil engineering, earthworks and complex construction projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the technical development of complex tenders, working alongside Pre-Construction Managers, Estimators, Designers, Programmers and Bid Managers to develop practical, technically robust and commercially competitive solutions.
Projects range from circa £1m demolition, soft strip and clearance schemes through to £40m+ complex industrial projects, including high-rise top-down demolition, high-reach demolition, major industrial deconstruction and associated infrastructure, basement construction and civil engineering works.
Salary £75,000 - £85,000, depending on experience and credentials
The company is an established specialist contractor delivering complex demolition, enabling works, civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
Its portfolio ranges from smaller demolition and clearance schemes through to major industrial projects involving complex demolition methodologies and significant follow-on civil engineering works.
The successful candidate will join an established pre-construction function, working alongside experienced Pre-Construction Managers, Estimators and an extensive technical/design resource.
This position would suit an experienced construction professional who combines strong site and engineering knowledge with pre-construction experience and enjoys developing technical solutions that help secure and successfully deliver complex projects.
