Qualifications

Purpose:
  1. Ultimately accountable for delivering Discipline Specific Construction Work Packs and recording work information in AS9 used to prepare installation (RFI, FCR, etc.).
  2. Contribute to the scheduling of works for the discipline, including reviewing and providing feedback on resource levels.
  3. Define the scope of works boundaries.
  4. Liaise with SME's and client counterparts.
  5. Ensure documents comply with latest work information and MEH documentation; request clarifications or propose changes as needed. Prioritize and own documentation to enable construction as per schedule.
  6. Keep documents up-to-date and review periodically.
  7. Own and drive deliverables from conception to >90% first-time acceptance, including specific Method Statements if applicable.
  8. Prioritize and own documentation to support construction as per level 4 plan, e.g., T-3 months acceptance prior to works.
  9. Support continuous improvement programmes.
  10. Report directly to the area pre-construction PM or deputy; provide line management and deputize when required.
  11. Ensure compliance with nuclear safety and site license requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze and coordinate works information documentation related to the discipline.
  2. Identify the work front through constructability reviews and installation schedules.
  3. Identify key materials to unlock additional installation; request surveys and temporary devices as needed.
  4. Deliver discipline-specific construction documentation, including work packs, supporting the installation programme.
  5. Coordinate between disciplines and areas to manage interfaces for schedule adherence.
  6. Support other MEH work teams for a coordinated approach.
Qualifications:
  1. Degree qualification or equivalent vocational training, or experience in installing HVAC systems.
  2. Ability to achieve Security Clearance (BPSS or higher).
  3. CCNSG Safety Passport.
Experience:
  1. Proven experience in a highly regulated sector, preferably nuclear.
  2. Experience with major construction projects.
  3. Experience at Engineer or Senior Engineer level.
  4. Proficient in Navisworks and Excel.
