We’re looking for a Pre-construction Engineer to join our growing team in South Lanarkshire, playing a pivotal role in shaping the early stages of civil and water sector projects. This is a great opportunity to work on high-profile infrastructure developments, where your input will directly influence the success and efficiency of project delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Supporting multiple infrastructure projects during their planning and development phases

Coordinating with design teams and external consultants to produce high-quality, buildable designs

Collaborating with estimators to inform accurate and competitive project pricing

Identifying opportunities for value engineering and innovation

Helping manage design risks, approvals, and project readiness for construction handover

Engaging with stakeholders and ensuring project milestones are met on time and within budget

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in the civil engineering or water sector, ideally with 3+ years in a pre-construction, design coordination, or planning role

Strong communication and organisational skills

A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams

Familiarity with design processes, estimating support, and construction planning

Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
