Job summary

United Living Group is seeking a proactive Assistant Quantity Surveyor in Dartford to support the pre-construction team. This role focuses on estimating and managing Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) projects to help clients deliver innovative solutions in critical infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will prepare cost estimates, manage commercial aspects of projects, and engage with the supply chain. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential, along with opportunities for career progression in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of cost planning, estimating, and procurement processes.
• Familiarity with PCSA projects or early-stage project delivery is desirable.
• Good commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets based on Employer’s Requirements.
• Support the development and validation of cost plans throughout the PCSA lifecycle.
• Assist with package scoping, tender enquiries, and evaluation of subcontractor returns.
• Work closely with Pre-Construction Managers, design teams, and senior QS staff.
