Circle Health Group is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join the Pre Assessment team at St Edmunds Hospital in Bury St Edmunds. This 30-hour-per-week role is permanent, with an up-to 25,300 GBP full-time equivalent salary.

Qualificações

• Previous experience in a care or health support role.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Basic literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
• Physically able to undertake duties including moving and handling tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients with personal hygiene, washing, dressing, toileting, oral care, and mobility needs.
• Help patients with eating, drinking, and nutritional support, including documenting intake.
• Carry out and record routine observations such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
• Report concerns to the Registered Nurse or relevant clinician.
• Record care provided and observations in documentation systems.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to GDPR.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures, including PPE use.
