Barnsley Football Club is seeking a dedicated Pre-Academy coach to support football and holistic development at the academy level. The role focuses on planning and delivering IDPs, and aligning sessions with the club's coaching philosophy.
Ideal candidates will hold UEFA C/B licenses, FA Youth/Advanced Youth Awards and safeguarding/first aid certifications, with a flexible, proactive approach and good ICT skills to support development plans.
Location: The County Ground, with the abilities to travel to other training facilities
Reports to: Foundation Phase Lead Coach, Pre-Academy Lead Coach and Academy Head of Coach Development
Casual Contract – Availability on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays

Overall purpose of the job
Support the coaching department with football and holistic development of the players within the Pre-Academy
Responsible for planning and implementing individual learning plans in line with the club's coaching and playing philosophy.

Qualifications
Experience
Minimum 1 years of experience in one or more of the following roles :
Knowledge and/or experience of at least 1 of the following:
Have ICT experience of FIP, excel, word and any other software as required in order to carry out the duties required for the job.
