Job summary

Somek & Associates, one of the UK’s largest independent expert witness providers, seeks Practitioner Psychologists to prepare medico-legal reports for court. You will offer objective opinions on diagnosis, causation and prognosis and assess rehabilitation needs, impacting daily functioning and quality of life.

Registration with the HCPC is essential, with a minimum of 6 years post-registration UK experience and clinical seniority in adults and/or paediatrics.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Minimum of 6 years post registration experience in the UK.
• Clinically practising in a senior role treating adults and/or paediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed medico-legal reports for court.
• Act as expert witness in clinical negligence and personal injury cases.
• Provide objective opinions on diagnosis, causation, prognosis, and rehabilitation needs.

Practitioner Psychologist - Expert Witness - Remote

We Are Recruiting Practitioner Psychologists!

Somek & Associates is one of the UK’s largest and most trusted providers of independent expert witnesses.

Practitioner Psychologists play a key role acting as expert witnesses in clinical negligence and personal injury litigation.

We are looking for experienced Practitioner Psychologists to provide the court with reports

detailing objective opinions regarding diagnosis, causation, severity, prognosis, treatment and

rehabilitation needs, and the impact of psychological difficulties on an individual’s daily functioning and quality of life.

Previous medico-legal experience is not essential. We are looking for psychologists from all specialisms, including (but not exclusive to) neuropsychology, psychological.

Requirements :

• Registration with the HCPC.


• Minimum of 6 years post registration experience in the UK.


• Practising clinically in a senior role treating adults and/or paediatric patients.
