Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology (Clinical, Counselling, Forensic, Educational) required.
  • Experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities/autism is essential.

Job Title: Practitioner Psychologist

Location: The Shires – Oakham / Stretton / Meadows View, Rutland, LE15 6JB

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: up to £55,000 depending on experience

Contract: Permanent, Term-Time only (full-time or part-time options available; please contact us for details)

Essential: Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle

Join our expanding therapy team across three diverse schools, working with children and young people aged 4-19 with various needs. Collaborate with education and clinical colleagues to support engagement and outcomes. This role offers a chance to develop your skills and make a significant impact in a child-centered environment.

About the role

We are expanding our clinical service and seeking a Practitioner Psychologist to deliver assessment and intervention plans. You will manage a caseload with support from our Clinical Team, contribute to staff training, and participate in reflective practice. This position is ideal for resilient, enthusiastic individuals with a therapeutic approach and decision-making skills.

Our Clinical Team fosters a nurturing environment prioritizing safeguarding and pupil involvement. We aim to empower vulnerable young people and build their futures.
