Job Opportunity: Practitioner Psychologist

We are expanding our clinical services and seeking a Practitioner Psychologist to join our Clinical Wellbeing team at Wessex Lodge School, South West. The role involves delivering bespoke assessments and interventions for pupils, supporting staff training, and contributing to reflective practice within a nurturing, safeguarding-focused environment.

Location: Wessex Lodge School and associated children’s homes, South West

Minimum Requirements
  1. Registered with the HCPC and a relevant professional body.
  2. Post-graduate doctoral level in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology (or equivalent).
  3. Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism.
  4. Ability to lead strategically and work collaboratively with partners.
  5. Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
  6. Experience in data management and analysis.

  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and promote pupil wellbeing.
