Job Title: Practitioner Psychologist

Location: Regional Role working across Barton School, Bradford Beacon School & Armley Grange School.

Salary: Up to £65,000 (DOE) plus £5000 Welcome Bonus. The Welcome Bonus is payable as one payment of £2,500 after one month of employment and a further £2,500 upon completion of your final probation period. T&Cs apply.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm

Contract: Permanent, 52 weeks

Essential: Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

About the role:

We are expanding our clinical service during a time of growth. The Practitioner Psychologist will work collaboratively to deliver assessment and intervention plans for our pupils, contributing to staff training, consultation, and reflective practice. The role requires resilience, enthusiasm, a therapeutic approach, decision-making skills, and workload management.

Our Clinical Team supports a nurturing environment where pupils can flourish, always prioritizing their wellbeing. All settings maintain a strong safeguarding culture, ensuring pupils are heard, respected, and involved in decisions affecting them.

We aim for excellence in supporting our pupils and are the leading service provider in the UK. We seek a Practitioner Psychologist who shares our vision to build futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK.

Qualifications and experience:
  • Professional qualification in Psychology (Masters and/or Doctorate level).
  • Experience working with children and young people with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, including complex trauma, mental health needs, and behaviors of concern.
  • Registered with the HCPC.
  • Additional experience and qualifications in leadership and management are desirable.
