Practitioner Manager Intake and Assessment

up to £42 per hour Umbrella company
The Vale of Glamorgan Child and Young People Services is looking for a Practitioner Manager (assistant manager) for our Intake Team. Candidates must be able to travel to the Vale as needed. The initial contract will run until the end of August. Pay rate is £40.49 per hour. This role offers hybrid working and when on site you will be based at the Docks Offices, in Barry.
Within the Intake Team, Practitioner Managers have specific roles and responsibilities depending on their areas of responsibility. We are looking for an experienced practitioner with supervisory or mentoring experience, who will be responsible for decision making at the front door. This includes the screening of referrals, oversight of enquiries and ensuring timely decision making for children within the Vale of Glamorgan. To be successful you will: know what good practice looks like, be experienced in delivering excellent outcomes with children, young people and their families, be able to manage risk confidently, and promote strong partnerships across a range of multi-agency partners.
