Job Description:

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to over 1.15 million people, expanding to 2.2 million with regional and national services.

The position involves working Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, from 08:30 to 17:00.

We seek an enthusiastic individual with a background in medical technology or physics to join our team delivering Nuclear Medicine imaging services. Responsibilities include performing routine diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, quality control, data management, operating under IRMER regulations, patient cannulation, and radiopharmaceutical administration.

Applicants should hold a degree in Medical Technology, Physical Science, Diagnostic or Therapeutic Radiology, or a related discipline. HNC/ONC with relevant experience may be considered. Registration with the Register for Clinical Technologists (RCT) is desirable; if not registered, the candidate will follow a training plan aiming to achieve DipIPEM (T), potentially including postgraduate modules over 2.5 years. Experience in healthcare settings and technical project management is also preferred.
