Job summary

Lincolnshire County Council's South Kesteven FAST team in Grantham is seeking a Practice Supervisor to lead a small team of social workers and oversee safeguarding work. You’ll provide primary assessment, support and guidance across Children in Need, Child Protection, Children in Care and Care Proceedings, ensuring children are safeguarded and plans are child-centred.

The role offers 37 hours per week, a permanent contract, and a salary between £48,738 and £54,143 with relocation consideration

Qualifications

• Qualified social worker with safeguarding experience.
• Experience with Child in Need, Child Protection and Care Proceedings.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage, guide and supervise a small team of social workers.
• Provide primary assessment, support and advice to families.
• Work with children and young people to safeguard at all times across care pathways.
• Support delivery of Signs of Safety and restorative practice.
