Grade: 12 | Reports to: Team Manager - Locality
The Practice Supervisor leads and supports Social Workers through supervision, quality assurance, and guidance. They ensure strong, research-based practice focused on improving outcomes for children and families.

Children, Young People & Families
Supervise and support Social Workers
Promote best practice using systemic approaches
Lead on complex casework and planning
Support staff learning and development
Collaborate with partners to improve child outcomes
Strong background in child protection & safeguarding
Skilled in case analysis, risk management, and leadership
Clear, respectful communicator with team-building skills
Degree in Social Work (CQSW, DipSW or equivalent)
Registered with Social Work England
Advanced/leadership training in social work (or working toward)
