A local government council in Scunthorpe is seeking a Practice Supervisor to lead Child in Need and Child Protection services. The role involves supervising social workers, ensuring high standards of safeguarding, and making critical decisions impacting children's lives. Salary: Grade 10/11 £47,181 to £54,495 per year (depending on experience). Grade 11 attracts an additional 6% supplement in lieu of a lease car.
Location: Church Square House, Scunthorpe.
Hours: 37 hours per week.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced social work professional to make a real difference, guiding and supervising a talented team of social workers in the delivery of child in need and child protection work.
As a Practice Supervisor, you will:
Lead and supervise a team of social workers, overseeing cases in child in need, child protection, some children in care, and court proceedings.
Ensure that all interventions meet the highest standards of safeguarding, quality assurance, and evidence-based practice.
Drive the team’s success by fostering an environment of reflective practice and continuous professional development.
Have the autonomy to make critical decisions that directly impact the lives of children and families in North Lincolnshire.
A qualified social worker with significant experience in child protection and safeguarding.
Proven experience in supervision and leading social work teams in high-stakes, complex cases.
A confident communicator, passionate about improving the lives of children and families.
A full UK driving licence and access to a car with business insurance.
