Practice Supervisor - Child in Need and Child Protection

Salary: Grade 10/11 £47,181 to £54,495 per year (depending on experience). Grade 11 attracts an additional 6% supplement in lieu of a lease car.

Location: Church Square House, Scunthorpe.

Hours: 37 hours per week.

DBS: Yes Enhanced with Barred List Check.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced social work professional to make a real difference, guiding and supervising a talented team of social workers in the delivery of child in need and child protection work.

  • Lead and supervise a team of social workers, overseeing cases in child in need, child protection, some children in care, and court proceedings.

  • Ensure that all interventions meet the highest standards of safeguarding, quality assurance, and evidence-based practice.

  • Have the autonomy to make critical decisions that directly impact the lives of children and families in North Lincolnshire.

What We’re Looking For
  • A qualified social worker with significant experience in child protection and safeguarding.

  • Proven experience in supervision and leading social work teams in high-stakes, complex cases.

  • A confident communicator, passionate about improving the lives of children and families.

  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car with business insurance.
