Practice Solutions Manager – Vision Care – Leeds HPA

As a Practice Solutions Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of Alcon's market share and CL penetration within the assigned top potential accounts through implementation of value-adding services, driving customer engagement including digital solutions, category growth events, and sell-out activities. The PSM delivers training, coordinates educational events in collaboration with the Professional Education team to enhance the skills of ECPs. The PSM is an experienced professional offering high-level commercial consultancy, providing technical advice from internal/external experts, and digital platform implementation expertise. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Partnering with Senior BDM and Account Lead/Decision Maker to achieve goals that deliver outstanding customer experience, drive patient engagement, and improve retention, thereby increasing market share and sales.
  • Promoting Alcon's digital platform and encouraging new prescriptions/subscriptions to accelerate customer acquisition and consumer enrollment.
  • Helping ECPs improve the consumer journey (awareness, practice efficiency, post-fitting support, subscriptions) to grow CL sales and market share.
  • Planning fitting events to support patient journeys and enhance consumer experience with Alcon brands.
  • Maximizing in-store visibility through POS materials and visual merchandising.
  • Collaborating with the Professional Education team to coordinate educational curricula.
  • Working locally with Senior Business Development Managers, Professional Education, and Marketing to create and implement practice support models.

Qualifications and qualities you should bring:

  • Relationship-building skills and the ability to understand customer needs and challenge accordingly.
  • Business administration experience with optical training or on-the-job experience.
  • Experience as an optician or optometrist with commercial expertise.
  • A motivated, driven individual capable of achieving goals and contributing to a high-performing team.
  • Creativity and agility in finding solutions.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Good commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
