Key Responsibilities

• Prepare annual accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders

• Prepare corporate and personal tax returns

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients — supporting with business development, succession planning, and accounting software guidance

• Provide proactive relationship management and advice beyond compliance

• Identify client needs early and implement practical, tailored solutions

• Communicate confidently with clients through meetings, calls, and reviews

• Use and support accounting software (IRIS, Sage, Excel); experience ideal but training available

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in accountancy practice

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or part-qualified), or qualified by experience

• Proven background preparing accounts and tax returns across multiple entity types

• Strong advisory and client relationship management skills
