NHS Scotland invites applications for a fixed-term Band 3 Receptionist at Lerwick GP Practice. This part-time role (21 hours/week) is pro rata for 12 months, with a salary range of £29,103–£31,409 per annum plus a pro rata Distant Islands Allowance of £2,578.
The post involves answering public queries, typing letters and referrals; training will be provided and PVG checks/UK right-to-work requirements apply.
An opportunity has arisen for a fixed term Band 3 Receptionist in the Lerwick GP Practice. The Lerwick Practice is a salaried General Practice, providing medical services to a population of approximately 8,700 patients.
This contract is fixed-term from 12 months of start date; to allow for ongoing workforce planning and review of establishment.
In this busy and demanding post, you will find no two days the same – the Reception staff have a key role in answering queries from members of the public as well as typing letters and referrals. Previous experience of working in a GP Practice would be an advantage but training on the job will be given.
