Practice Nurse

Location: Westhoughton

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join a friendly, supportive GP practice team. The role will involve working closely with GPs, other nurses, healthcare assistants, and administrative staff to deliver high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care, treatment, and support to patients.

• Carry out health screenings, immunisations, vaccinations, and wound management.

• Manage and review patients with long-term conditions such as diabetes, asthma, COPD, and hypertension.

• Support the delivery of health promotion and disease prevention initiatives.

• Assist with cervical cytology, family planning, and travel health services.

• Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient care.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
