Practice Nurse - Part Time

Job Summary

Healthii People are delighted to support a friendly and forward-thinking GP Practice in Redhill, Surrey with the recruitment of a Practice Nurse.

We are seeking a caring, motivated, and committed nurse to join the practice's established clinical team. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in Diabetes care and General Practice Nursing, alongside a genuine passion for patient-centred care.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

As a Practice Nurse, you will:

  • Work in line with the NMC Code of Conduct and professional scope of practice.
  • Provide treatment room services including: wound care (basic & complex), suture/clip removal, phlebotomy, ECG, urinalysis.
  • Provide vaccinations (including travel, flu, and routine) under PGDs, with safe storage management.
  • Provide cervical screening and support for minor surgery, coil, and implant fittings.
  • Provide warfarin monitoring.
  • Deliver proactive, holistic care for patients with long-term conditions and chronic diseases.
  • Promote healthy lifestyle advice and patient education.
  • Support infection control compliance and stock management.
  • Provide training and supervision to junior staff.
  • Contribute to service development and implementation of new policies.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and manual records.
  • Act as a patient chaperone when required.
