Job summary

The Practice Nurse position at NHS Jobs involves joining a multidisciplinary general practice team to deliver evidence-based nursing care to the patient population. Qualifications

• Candidates must be registered with the NMC as a practicing nurse.
• Experience delivering care in a general practice setting is preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously within professional scope and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, psychological, and social needs of patients presenting with health conditions.
• Maintain accurate electronic patient records in EMIS Web in line with NMC guidelines.
• Recognize and escalate to a GP when necessary based on clinical signs.
• Assist in meeting QOF targets and maintain data accuracy in EMIS Web.
• Adhere to IPC protocols and maintain a safe patient and staff environment.
