Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Practice Nurse to join our team at Gosberton Medical Centre.

Situated in tranquil South Lincolnshire, our dispensing GMS practice maintains a decade-long 100% QOF achievement, as well as a Good rating in CQC and a 5-Star QEWS award. Serving 8111 patients, it offers professional growth and personal fulfilment opportunities.

Job Specification

Hours:Negotiable (Full Time and Part Time considered)

Minimum of2 years’ experienceworking in ageneral practice setting

Registered Nursewith theNursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)and ingood standing

Demonstrable experience and competence in themanagement of Type 2 Diabetes

Proficient inadult and childhood immunisations

Competent incervical smear taking

Skilled inwound careand dressing management

Ability to undertakecontraceptive pill reviews

Competent in administration ofDepo Provera injections

Able to administer a range oftherapeutic injections, including:

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

Experience managing additional chronic conditions:

Independent Prescribing Qualification(V300) – desirable but not essential

Experience withtravel vaccinations

Phlebotomyskills – highly desirable

ECGrecording and basic interpretation – highly desirable

Personal Attributes:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Organised, self-motivated, and flexible in approach

Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
