A healthcare provider in London is seeking a full-time experienced Practice Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing services. The candidate must possess General Practice Experience and be competent in chronic disease management. Responsibilities include assisting GPs, managing patient inquiries, and participating in professional development. We are currently looking to recruit a Full time experienced Practice Nurse (Permanent, not a bank nurse), at our Sternhall lane surgery (Peckham) to help to deliver care in all areas of General Practice Nursing including: travel and child vaccinations, family planning and cytology.
***GeneralPractice Experience - REQUIRED (we are not currently considering applicationswithout General practice experience)***
Be competent in chronic disease management including; diabetes, asthma, hypertension
Be active in health promotion and patient education
Be able to assist GPs with minor surgery
have the necessary skills and training to run spirometry, diabetes, smoking cessation, and travel clinics
The successful Applicant will be a Experienced Practice Nurse, who is registered General Nurse with full NMC registration.

Working in accordance with the UKCC Code of Professional Conduct and The Scope of Professional Practice, in General practice.
Working with IT systems e.g. GP clinical systems such as EMIS and Office software.

Recordkeeping, protocols and procedures and the sharing of information within theteam should be undertaken efficiently and effectively. It is essential that astrict code of confidentiality is adhered to at all times.
It is important that all members of staff are prepared totake on additional duties or relinquish existing duties in order to maintainefficient running of the practice. Thepartners and line managers reserve the right to re-distribute duties andfunctions among members of staff from time to time, and requests for suchchanges shall not be reasonable refused.
