Job summary

Fir Tree Medical Centre in Liverpool is seeking a Practice Nurse to join our busy, multi-site GP team. The role is full-time with a permanent contract, based at a Liverpool-based surgery with cross-site opportunities, and requires a commitment to high standards of patient care.

The successful candidate will be a registered nurse with UK registration and experience in primary care, capable of chronic disease reviews, vaccinations, venepuncture and other routine nursing duties under GP direction.

Qualifications

• Membership of the RCN is required.
• Registered with the NMC is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in and perform routine tasks related to patient care as directed by GPs.
• Undertaking Chronic Disease Reviews: Asthma, COPD, CHD, Diabetes, Hypertension; New Patient Medicals.
• Peak Flow Readings; Venepuncture; Cervical cytology testing; Blood pressure measurements.
