East Hill Surgery is a busy town centre GP Practice looking to recruit a practice nurse to join our nursing team to cover maternity leave, primarily covering our diabetic clinics.

Main duties of the job

• Management of diabetes
• Cervical cytology
• Wound care
• ECGs

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration with an active PIN.

Experience

• We are looking for an NMC registered nurse, ideally with general practice experience who is proactive, enthusiastic and willing to be flexible and work as part of a team.
• Diabetes management knowledge/experience essential.
• Knowledge of Emis Web is desirable but full training would be provided.
