Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a practice at the heart of its local community, with a superb team of multi-disciplined clinicians who work extremely well together. The practice has an excellent reputation amongst its patients and is a high-performing, supportive practice that trains Registrars and Medical Students and is happy to upskill staff. It promotes innovative ways of working and has a real focus on the wellbeing of its employees.

Specifically, this practice is looking for a clinician experienced in treating Diabetes who wishes to continue working in this area. The surgery is open to thinking outside the box to continually improve its services for patients.

Salary – £48,750 – £54,600 per annum (full time equivalent) + NHS pension + 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro-rata) + Bank Holidays excluded

Location – Claygate, Surrey

Your role –

• Deliver exceptional care
• All face-to-face, pre-booked appointments
• Appointment times ranging from 10 to 30 minutes
• Focus on traditional practice nurse duties and diabetes-related conditions
• Long-term conditions interest is beneficial but not essential
• GP mentorship and support available
• Primary care experience is ESSENTIAL
• Independent Prescribing qualification is desirable but not mandatory
