Job summary

North House Surgery in Crook is seeking a full-time Practice Nurse to join a friendly team. The role focuses on general nursing duties and chronic disease management within a supportive primary care setting.

The successful candidate will work with GPs, nurses, and other staff to deliver evidence-based care, vaccinations, wound care, and health promotion. NHS pathways and local policies guide practice.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active UK NMC registration.
• Experience in primary care environment is desirable.
• Ability to work within professional boundaries delivering high standard nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and provide high-quality nursing care within professional boundaries.
• Provide wound care, injections, vaccinations and chronic disease management.
• Support GPs and nursing team, including minor procedures and safeguarding.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and process pathology requests as required.
