Overview

Practice Nurse Vacancy — Andover — Full-Time Hours Available — Band 6 Salary

We are looking to recruit for a Practice Nurse for a permanent contract for a surgery near Andover. They are seeking a well‑rounded and experienced practice nurse who can work up to full-time hours on an agreed pattern. The surgery is open 8:30am–6:30pm weekdays, with options for a full 10‑hour day, or morning sessions, or a combination across the week, negotiable at interview.

Responsibilities

• Deliver GP surgery treatment room duties, including vaccines and immunisations, cytology, and chronic disease checks.
• Collaborate with GPs and the health care team (HCA) on patient care within a purpose-built site with modern facilities.

Location & Practice Details

The surgery has ~12,000 patients, on a nice purpose-built site with great facilities. On‑site parking is available for staff and EMIS Web is used.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary between £17–£21 per hour depending on skill set.
• NHS pension, 5 weeks annual leave, and sick pay policy after probation.
