A fast-growing NHS practice in Romford is seeking a General Practice Nurse to deliver care to the patient population. Responsibilities include managing long-term conditions and supporting healthy living options. The position requires a Nursing and Midwifery Council registration. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the general practice team. This is a full-time role, but part-time applications will be considered.

General Practice Nurse
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) although part-time and job share will be considered for exceptional candidates. Shift would be a combination of some morning and evening.
The post-holder will be responsible for the delivery of practice nursing care to the patient population. S/he will deliver care within the boundaries of the role, focusing upon supporting patients to be healthy through management of long-term conditions, encouraging healthy living options, and screening activities.
Competency is required in:
S/he will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures as required. The successful candidate would be supported by the Senior Nurse/GP Partner on site.
