Job description

Clifton Medical Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and dynamic team.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Record accurate clinical notes
  • Work within your scope of practice and know when to refer to GPs
  • Chaperone procedures
  • Provide women's health services (cervical cytology, contraception, etc.)
  • Administer immunisations (routine, childhood, travel)
  • Manage chronic diseases such as Asthma, COPD, Diabetes
  • Travel medicine services
  • Perform spirometry
  • Maintain knowledge of clinical governance
  • Understand public health issues in the local area
  • Be aware of wider health arena issues
  • Implement health promotion strategies
Skills Required:
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Effective time management, planning, and organizing
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
  • Good interpersonal skills
