An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join the team at Wembury Surgery in Plymouth. The role involves managing chronic diseases, conducting health promotions, and performing standard nursing duties like vaccinations and phlebotomy. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Practice Nurse to join ourfriendly team at Wembury Surgery.
We are looking for a colleague with excellent interpersonal and clinicalskills with experience working in a GP Practice. Competence in chronic diseasemanagement is preferred (particularly asthma, COPD, diabetes and hypertension)along with standard nursing duties such as immunisations, cervical screening,dressings, phlebotomy etc.
Our four GPs and healthcare team provide comprehensive, high quality,patient centred care to a semi-rural community of 2,800 patients on theoutskirts of Plymouth.
