NHS Jobs in Grantham invites applications for a Practice Nurse. You will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team alongside GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and our practice nurse team, with support from managerial, dispensing, reception and admin staff to deliver high‑quality primary care.

You will provide immunisations, cervical screening, family planning reviews, travel vaccines and manage chronic disease, dementia and cancer care reviews, plus health promotion and disease

Qualifikationen

• Experience in General Practice Nursing and delivery of routine care.
• Ability to carry out immunisation schedules and cancer care reviews.
• Proven skills in cervical screening, contraception reviews and health promotion.

Aufgaben

• Deliver routine immunisation schedules.
• Perform cervical screening.
• Conduct contraception reviews and family planning.
• Administer travel vaccinations.
• Manage chronic diseases and dementia reviews.
• Contribute to cancer care reviews.
• Promote health and disease prevention within the practice.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including GPs and ANPs.

You will be supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. You will work alongside GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, and our dedicated practice nurse team, with additional support from skilled managerial, dispensing, reception, and administrative staff. As a Practice Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to patients, utilising your experience in General Practice Nursing, minor illness, and chronic disease management.
