APPLICANTS MUST HAVE PRIMARY CARE EXPERIENCE AND MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON A FRIDAY
For the right candidates, we would consider Job sharing.
We are looking to recruit an individual with experience in all areas of Practice Nursing including Chronic Disease Management (Asthma, COPD, CHD etc.) as we have well-established monitoring taking place on a weekly basis on this cohort of patients and wish to maintain this moving forward. Candidates will also be expected to have Treatment Room experience as these clinics are run on a daily basis and form an important part of the practice's clinical rota. We would ideally expect the candidate to have experience in the following areas: Child vaccinations from 6-8 weeks, other vaccinations including Covid, Travel, Prostap, Contraception (Pill reviews), Cervical screening, and any other duties associated with the role of a Practice Nurse. The candidate would also be expected to participate in maintaining QOF registers.
AGAIN - DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE ROLE CANDIDATES MUST HAVE PRIMARY CARE EXPERIENCE
We presently have 2 part-time Nurses who work 2 days per week each. One of the team specializes in Diabetes. The successful candidate/s will be expected to replace the hours of the 2 retirees (Approx 32 hours). The previous nursing team had an extremely good work ethic and would work alongside each other helping each other out if needed, so there will always be support both from the nursing team and the rest of the clinical team at the practice.
