Practice Nurse (FS-PN-RH10) Crawley, England

Salary: GBP0 - GBP30 per hour + Benefits

Rate: up to £30ph DOE

MCG Healthcare has multiple ad hoc and long-term locum positions available for Practice Nurses in GP practices across Surrey. We are specifically seeking Practice Nurses within commuting distance of Crawley. If you are qualified and experienced, seeking long-term locum work or part-time/ad hoc opportunities, we would love to hear from you.

Main duties of the job

• Providing assessment, screening, treatment services, and health education advice
• Providing nursing treatments in collaboration with GPs or independently, following protocols
• Conducting general and specific health screenings with referrals to GPs as needed
• Advising patients on health care and minor ailments, with referrals to GPs as necessary
• Performing dressings
• Infection control

Job responsibilities

Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a practice nurse in General Practice

Cervical screening training

Childhood and travel immunisation training

Experience in monitoring chronic diseases such as asthma, COPD, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration
