A small and friendly GP surgery on the outskirts of Chester is seeking a positive Practice Nurse for a part-time role. The ideal candidate will have over three years of primary care nursing experience and knowledge of diabetes management. Responsibilities include chronic disease management and routine patient care. We are looking for a positive and forward-thinking Practice Nurse who would like to join our friendly and supportive team, based on the outskirts of Chester. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' experience of primary care nursing and will have a knowledge of diabetes management. Prescribing is preferred but not essential. This a part-time post (24-28 hours per week)
Main duties will include:
We are a small and friendly GP surgery, based on the outskirts of Chester city centre. We provide care for 8,000 patients and are led by 4 supportive GP partners. Our practice team also includes 2 salaried GPs, 3 ANPs, 1 additional Practice Nurse, 3 HCAs, physiotherapist, dietitian, child and adult mental health practitioners, care co-ordinator, and a large administration team.
