Job summary

North Chelmsford Healthcare Centre is seeking a qualified Practice Nurse to join our team across the main surgery and our Beaulieu Healthcare Centre branch. The role is part‑time, with shifts on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday or Thursday and Friday, offering a flexible schedule in a busy GP environment.

About the Role

North Chelmsford Healthcare Centre has an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly team working across our main surgery and our new modern purpose‑built branch surgery, Beaulieu Healthcare Centre. This position is offered on a part‑time basis, working either Wednesday, Thursday and Friday or Thursday and Friday

Duties will include:

• Childhood immunisations
• Cytology
• Contraception
• Wound dressings
• Adult immunisations
• ECGs/BPs
• Health monitoring and management
• NHS travel vaccines
• Asthma or Diabetes Management (qualified or willingness to undertake training) - preferrable

About the Candidate

• A relevant nursing degree.
• Current NMC registration with an active PIN.
• Applicants must have experience working as a Practice Nurse in General Practice and be qualified in the above areas listed in the job description.
