A friendly GP practice in Bromley is seeking a part-time practice nurse to provide nursing services focusing on chronic disease management and health promotion. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with NHS experience, and will work within a supportive team environment. Benefits include generous annual leave, training, and inclusive practices.
We are seeking an enthusiastic part-time practice nurse to work approximately 12 - 16 hours a week, excluding Tuesdays, during the surgery's opening hours. One shift will be until 6:30 pm. Hours are negotiable.
The ideal candidate should be lively and bubbly with a can-do attitude, experienced in working within an NHS GP Practice, with patient care as the forefront of their mind.
We are a small, friendly GP practice located in Hayes, Kent, with only 6,700 registered patients.
If successful, we require 2 employment references and an enhanced DBS check before employment begins.
We do not offer overseas visa support and will only consider applicants based in the UK with the right to work documentation.

Applicants with primary care/GP experience will be considered.
The practice nurse provides nursing services within the scope of their role, supporting patients to stay healthy, monitoring long-term conditions, and delivering health promotion, screening, and prevention activities.
Responsibilities include assessing patients, planning and implementing treatment protocols, and reviewing progress.
This includes managing long-term conditions, such as diabetes, asthma, COPD, CHD, and mental health issues, depending on experience and training.
Tasks include taking and testing pathology samples, caring for uncomplicated wounds (removal of sutures, wound assessment, cleaning, dressing, burn management, ulcer care), and participating in vaccination and immunization programs.
Qualified candidates may prescribe medications within their competence and perform other clinical duties as required.
