Job summary

Blackwood Medical Group is seeking a motivated Practice Nurse to join a well-established, friendly and innovative team. The role is part-time (24 hours per week) with salary dependent on experience, offering 5 weeks of annual leave and opportunities for professional development.

A supportive team, company pension, and free parking are provided. Responsibilities include administering vaccinations, immunisations and travel health advice, wound care, and health-promotion activities.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration.
• Primary care/general practice experience desirable but training will be provided.
• Chronic disease management experience (e.g. Diabetes, Respiratory) advantageous.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Patient-focused approach and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Good timekeeping.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for acompassionate and motivated individual with the following qualifications andskills:

• RegisteredNurse (RGN) with current NMC registration
• Previousexperience in a primary care or general practice setting is desirable but notessential as training will be provided
